" Will " - future 

1) promise 

I will be there at 7 o'clock . 

2) spontaneous decisions 

I will buy this car today .

3) predictions based on experience 

The online classes will be more than we think. 


" to be going to " future = a intentiona sa / a urma sa - PLAN 

1) previous plans ending with a decision 

We aren't going to leave the country for our holiday/s because the pandemics isn't over yet.

2) predictions based on what we can see

Be careful , Stefan ! You are going to fall down the coach / sofa .


3)  present simple - future activities from a timetable which is official

We have English next Tuesday and Wednesday .


4) present continuous - future personal plans 

We are meeting next Friday at the same time. 


5) to be about to / to be on the point of = a fi pe punctul de a...

I can't talk to you now , I am about to start online classes. 


6) to be to = a urma sa ...( context formal : institutii/ functii )

The school headmistress is to decide when we come back to school.
